Our Mission
At Dymally High School, we challenge every student to become the very best version of themselves. We empower each and every student to continue their educational journey because their success is our mission.
As one of LAUSD's high schools with the highest academic growth, we are proud of the remarkable progress our students and staff have achieved together. This accomplishment reflects our unwavering commitment to high expectations, rigorous instruction, and a culture built on love, accountability, and excellence.
We are charged with ensuring that every student has access to high-quality, equitable instruction while developing the lifelong skills necessary to thrive in college, career, and life. Through hands-on learning experiences, real-world applications, and meaningful opportunities both inside and outside the classroom, we prepare our students to become confident leaders, critical thinkers, and productive citizens.

Our school community will promote critical thinking and problem solving while connecting with our students’ current lives and cultural roots. Our students will graduate as 21st Century thinkers who will carry their intellectual curiosity into college and career. We will create this community of learners through purposeful structure, research and evidence-based teaching methodology that incorporates technology and literacy, and high standards for ourselves as professionals as well as for the students we teach.
