One of our commitments to keep your child safe is the implementation of a school uniform policy. This policy is not meant to take away our students’ identity, but rather to remove the stigma that students must dress a certain way—or feel pressured to—just to attend school.I want Dymally to be a place where every child is on the same playing field, where the focus is on education, not clothing. I want our students to take pride as they walk to and from school, proudly saying, “I attend Dymally High School.” I want our community to see that our students are academically strong, confident, and prepared for the world.
Parents, your child received a burgundy or black uniform shirt. Students are required to wear these shirts on the first day back from Winter Break, January 12. We are blessed to receive donations from friends, family, and supporters from all over the country who want Dymally students to thrive. Again, your child’s best interest remains our priority.
